Banana Cream Top Latte
If you're a fan of sweet, creamy lattes with a twist, you’re going to love this Banana Cream Top Latte. It’s rich and velvety, with warm espresso, banana-infused cream, and a touch of nostalgic comfort that tastes like a hug in a cup.
Banana Cream Top
Ingredients:
1 ripe banana (mashed smooth or blended)
1 cup heavy cream (I used the OATLY Barista Edition)
1 tbsp vanilla bean paste
1 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions:
In blender, combine the banana, milk, vanilla bean paste, and maple syrup.
Once blended, whip or froth until thick and creamy — it should be pourable but hold a soft peak. Chill while you prepare your latte.
Banana Cream Top Latte
Ingredients:
2 shots of espresso (or ½ cup strong brewed coffee)
Banana cream top
Your favorite milk (I love using oat or almond—frothed/over ice if cold)
Instructions:
Brew 2 shots of espresso.
While it's hot, stir in the honey or agave for sweetness. Taste and adjust if needed!
Fill a glass with ice, pour the espresso mixture over it, then add some milk.
Fill remaining glass with the banana cream top mixture. You can adjust the milk / cream top ratio depending on your liking.
